What we collect

When you book a class

The parent's name and mobile phone, the child's first name and age, the program, location and time you chose, and anything you write in the notes.

When you pay

Payment details go straight to Stripe, our payment processor. We see the name, email, amount and the last four digits of the card, never the full card number.

When you contact us

Your messages and contact details, whether by phone, text, WhatsApp or email.

At the dojo

What you tell us on the registration form, such as an emergency contact and health information that matters for training.

When you visit the site

Our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages visited) to keep the site running and secure.

How we use it

• To confirm bookings, schedule classes and contact you about them by phone, text or email.
• To prepare for your child's first class and build a personal training plan. Notes about health, attention or shyness are used only for this.
• To take payments, send receipts and manage memberships.
• To keep students safe and reach you in an emergency.
• We don't send marketing messages unless you've agreed to receive them.

Who we share it with

We never sell or rent your information. We share it only with services that help us run the school, and only what they need:

• Stripe, to process payments.
• Our website host (Vercel) and the tools we use to receive bookings and messages, such as email, spreadsheets and WhatsApp.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

Cookies

This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe may use cookies during payment to prevent fraud. If we ever add analytics, we'll update this policy first.

Children's privacy

Our classes are for children, but this website is for parents. We collect a child's information only from a parent or guardian. If you think a child has sent us information on their own, contact us and we'll delete it.

How long we keep it

We keep student records while you train with us and for up to 3 years after, or longer if the law requires it (for example, payment records for taxes). Booking requests that don't lead to classes are deleted within 12 months.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show, correct or delete your information, or to stop texting you. Just call, message or email us, and we'll reply within 30 days.

Security

Inside the school, only Sensei and the people who help run classes can see your information, and we use services with strong security. No system is perfect, but if your information is ever affected by a breach, we'll tell you promptly.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
