Meet Sensei Eugene
Eugene Boure has spent more than 40 years in martial arts and 25 of them competing and coaching. As a member of the national team he won 49 of 52 fights, including bouts against future world champions.
But the number he is proudest of is 1,000: the students he has coached to real sporting results. His method is built on child psychology. Every child starts with an assessment, gets a personal plan, and is pushed just past what they could do yesterday.
He also teaches yoga, which is why his classes care as much about breathing, mobility and calm as about power. He is currently writing a book on his coaching method.

My only regret is that I did not have the opportunity of his instructions earlier.

Recommendation letter for Yevegeniy
I had the pleasure of knowing Yevegeniy and his amazing family for 18 years. I have always known him as a serious passionate humble individual who cherishes honesty and friendship, but never realised his deep mastery of the martial arts, physical training,Yoga, and massage.
What amazed me most was his talent and depth of knowledge as a master of Karate Shotokan Style (He is a 4th degree black belt).
As a past participant and champion of many national international and junior olympic competitions in Tae- Kwon-Do and few in Karate, I have had the pleasure of meeting and training with the best trainers and olympic coaches. And yet how much I did not know I only discovered when I began training with Yevegeniy. Yevegeniy is hands down one of the best I have ever had the opportunity to meet or train under. Yevegenie’s ability to explain and simplify the most complex moves and techniques and present you with a fun and clear road map to concur them leaves me often speechless.
What is more unusual is his willingness to share these secrets that took him decades to learn from his teenager years to now, having fought and won against the people who ended up, due to connections, taking his well deserved place in the USSR team winning world championships in his weight category.
In the short time I have started to practice again with Yevegeniy my Kime (the explosive energy of my art) has increased and his abilities to find the weak spots in my technique and teach me how to repair them have made me achieve things I could not have done on my own.
His knowledge of the body’s anatomy and Yoga have made him able to know when to push and when to tell me to rest so that I will prevent damaging my muscles and health. My Chi and technique has improved dramatically since I started training with him.
Through my request he was kind enough to take on the senior class of the middle school and teach them Karate. The kids love it and have become more disciplined and self confident. They love him and are very grateful to me for having introduced him to them. They are now in the process of setting a school team to compete and represent the school. All this he achieved in only 3 months of a once a week training.
My only regret is that I did not have the opportunity of his instructions earlier.
With deep gratitude and best wishes, Eyal Levit, MD

Is karate safe for my child?
Yes. Kids learn to fall, control and respect before any partner work. Sparring is light, supervised and age-appropriate, and never required for young beginners.
Will karate make my child aggressive?
The opposite. Traditional karate teaches self-control: bow in, listen, wait your turn. Parents most often tell us their child became calmer.
Is 4 too young?
Not for Little Dragons. Classes for 4–7 year olds are built around attention span, play and balance, with short focused drills.
Am I too old to start as an adult?
No. Sensei adapts the load to your joints and fitness. Many adults start in their 40s and 50s.
Is there a long-term contract?
No long contract. Monthly plans auto-renew and you can cancel. The Intro is 2 classes for $20 with no commitment.
My child has ADHD or is very shy. Will it work?
Often it works especially well. The first classes include a skills assessment, and private 1:1 lessons are available when a group is too much at first.
Is karate good for girls?
Absolutely. Confidence, posture and real self-defense skills, in a respectful environment.
Will it help with bullying?
Karate builds the confidence that makes kids less likely to be targeted, plus the skills to stay safe and walk away.
What if we miss a class?
Let us know and we'll help you make it up.
